My favourite game of all time. I would #recommend it to anyone in need of proof that Videogames can be art or an existential headbanger.

In this sci-fi mystery, you fly between planets translating an ancient alien language trying to understand what happened to the interstellar species that used to inhabit your solar system. It's a little hard to sell you on this game without spoiling it, because the only power-up you get is knowledge. Watch the trailer if you need to, but I would highly recommend going in blind. Play it with VR if you can using Nomai VR and the game's excellent mod community.

Don't let "open world" games' history of bland uninspiring maps put you off; this game uses a Newtownian simulation of a hand-crafted solar system, where details that spark your curiosity almost always mean something.

Solving the mysteries of this game will teach you how to hypothesis test and invalidate your own knowledge.
