Plan a season of my life around SKIP

Skills to Inherit Property is a framework to acquire skills that will make me the natural inheritor of someone with property and money in a region I want. I'll need many of these skills to homestead anyway, so I'm keen to spend a season of my life around accomplishing a subset of SKIP. Perhaps the natural building one? Or the gardening one? I could do this living at Mt Eccles, or by finding projects that other people want done at their house and offering to build it for them (provided I can take photos, they'll fund the materials, etc). Also, building these for others feels like a wonderful way to share the impact and Spread the word.

Now that I think of it, it would be far less lonely and give me far more exposure to look for opportunities to complete these projects on other people's properties. It will expose me to more "Oties" (Otises, Otessas and O-they-sas for your NB folk). Even better if I can manage this while backpacking, since it will give me exposure to Oties in different countries.
